Welcome to the City of Ridgefield

On behalf of the Ridgefield City Council and the City of Ridgefield staff, welcome to the City of Ridgefield. We thank you for choosing to live in our community. We believe you will enjoy the friendliness, physical beauty and high quality of life that the Ridgefield community has to offer.

As a new community member there are many different opportunities for you to become involved. The City Council is made of citizens elected to represent and lead the City. The City has advisory boards and commissions including the Planning Commission, Parks Advisory Board and Civil Service Commission that you can volunteer to serve on. Throughout the year, there are several community events such as the Fourth of July celebration, Birdfest, Hometown Celebration, Heritage Days and National Night Out to which many citizens lend their time and energy.
